Mike Wilkinson, Lead Security Architect for DWP Adaptive Security Programme, responsible for providing security oversight for the Departments Adaptive Security Programme to ensure that the programme delivers consistent and Secure by Default outcomes. 

This is all done under a Risk driven approach and includes regular engagement with both senior internal stakeholders and external suppliers. Providing security oversight for the multiple work-streams withing the programme. 

Ensuring services are aligned with DWP Standards and Policies, NIST and CIS controls to underpin a modern adaptive approach to support the DWP Business Strategy. 
Previous positions at DWP include Risk & Assurance, Innovation and managing the day-to-day operations of Application, Maintenance Support services with third party suppliers.

Prior to DWP, Mike spent over 15 years in Financial Services primarily focused on Credit Cards, Chip & PIN and personal loans.
